From McDonald's to THE Danube
Hiphei (Bukarest, lauantaiaamu 17.5.2009, jo selvämietteisempänä)Terkut Bukarestin Pohjoisrautatieaseman McDonaldsista. Ei kovin hohdokasta, mutta onpahan netti.
Parin tunnin päästä jatketaan matkaa, illalla
seittemän aikoihin pitäisi jo Tonava siintää näköpiirissä.
En oikein
vieläkään käsitä, että en palaakaan Aradiin ainakaan ihan kohta. Porissa odottaa
kuitenkin jo uudet kujeet, kiva tietty palata Satakunnan sydämeen.
Kokemäenjoenrantakin on ihan kaunis.

Tiia -on melkein isompi kuin rinkkansa, joka
majoittuu onneksi Bukarestissa Tonavan-reissun ajan-
Medgidia
We arrived at Medgidia because we had to change train. Two hours in a small Romanian village/town, hot summer day. We had bread, cheese, self made strawberry jam/soup and plenty of water.
There was a pink old day bar, some cars and a river. A smelly one. Even though, we sat by the river and ate bread with the jam (which was more like soup). Good, but the smell of the river disturbed this apetit a bit.
One man tried to offer us a ride to Tulcea. He couldn't understand why we wantedd to wait for the train. We waited and the train took us safely to our destination. Many little villages we passed.
Tulcea
”Show the Danube smile!” and I shoot my first Danube photo with Anne and Ida.
We were about to be hosted by parents of one Couch surfer girl Olimpia. She wouldn't be at home but the parents would take care of us. We had the address and taxi driver took us to the house. No one was at home. There was a dog in the garden (how surprising) which wasn't so happy that we tried to get into the house. We left a note to the mail box and went for looking for something to eat.
A small hostel-restaurant fed us with pizza and some kind of beer with the taste of lemon. I think I drank only water. When we finished eating Olimpia's mum called that they had come back home.
The house was really nice. The toilet was separate from the house, also a room where we were able to wash and refresh us. We got a lot of vegetables to eat but we were quite full so we didn't eat so much.
We finished watching the movie we had started in the train and fell asleep.
